2025 Librarian’s Report
It feels like another year has come and gone in the blink of an eye!
We have continued to work with Headstart, Early Headstart and Brighton Pre-K to ensure the youngest
members of our Town have the resources they need. Once again, we were lucky to receive a grant from
the Turrell Foundation.
This year, we had a Story Walk in the park, saw dinosaurs in the Town Hall, had pictures taken with
Santa & Mrs. Claus, had a Wine Tasting and more in the library. All these events are made possible by
grants, donations and, of course, the generosity of the taxpayers.
I’d like to thank all our patrons for their continued support. Also, our Library Board of Trustees for all
their time and our Brighton Selectboard for their support.
My biggest thanks go to the staff here…without them, this job would be a lot less productive and fun.
Thank you Katie Mientka, Betty Storm and Jane Moulton. We are all looking forward to another great
year.
Respectfully,
Michelle Wilcox, Library Director
